Overview

E-Services operates this Armenia eVisa assistance portal. We respect your privacy and collect only the information needed to help you prepare and submit an Armenia e-Visa application.

We do not use your personal data for marketing, advertising, newsletters, profiling or resale. We do not build long-term user profiles or mailing lists from your application information.

Personal data and uploaded documents are kept only for limited operational periods and are deleted automatically once those periods end, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

No Marketing — Ever

Your information is used solely to provide visa application assistance and related customer support. Specifically, we do not:

  • Send promotional emails, SMS messages or newsletters based on your application data.
  • Sell, rent or trade your personal information to marketers or data brokers.
  • Use your data for behavioural advertising, remarketing or social-media audience building.
  • Share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • Subscribe you to mailing lists without a separate, explicit opt-in — which this portal does not offer.

Transactional messages related to your application — such as payment confirmation or approved e-Visa delivery — are service communications only, not marketing.

What We Collect

We collect only data necessary to process your Armenia e-Visa request, including:

  • Identity and passport details entered in the application form.
  • Contact information (email address, mobile number, postal address).
  • Travel details (arrival date, visa type, purpose of visit).
  • Uploaded documents required for your nationality (passport scan, photo, supporting documents).
  • Technical metadata needed for security and fraud prevention (browser type, IP address, referrer) during the active application session.

We do not ask for, and do not need, unrelated personal information such as social-media accounts, browsing history outside this portal or financial data beyond what is required for payment processing.

How Long We Keep Data

We follow a data-minimisation and deletion approach. Records are not kept indefinitely. Retention periods are:

  • Session data (form progress, CSRF tokens): deleted when your browser session ends or within 24 hours, whichever is sooner.
  • Incomplete applications (not submitted): deleted within 30 days of last activity, including any temporary uploads.
  • Pending unpaid applications: deleted within 90 days of creation, including associated documents and folder files.
  • Submitted and paid applications: retained only for operational support, dispute handling and compliance review, then deleted within 12 months after the approved visa validity period ends or 24 months from the submission date, whichever occurs first.
  • Uploaded documents (passport, photo, supporting files): deleted together with the application record, or earlier when no longer required for processing.
  • Server error logs containing IP addresses: rotated and purged within 90 days.

After deletion, data is removed from active systems and backups in accordance with our standard backup rotation schedule. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 90 days of the primary deletion date.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used only for the following purposes:

  • Preparing, reviewing and forwarding your Armenia e-Visa application.
  • Calculating applicable consular and service fees for your nationality.
  • Communicating application status, payment confirmation and approved visa delivery.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse and duplicate submissions.
  • Responding to your support enquiries about an active or recent application.

We do not use your information for any purpose not listed above.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Limited disclosure may occur only when necessary to operate the service:

  • Payment processor — to complete your transaction (we do not store full card numbers on this portal).
  • Official visa authorities — where your application must be submitted to the Republic of Armenia e-Visa system for decision.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — under strict confidentiality, solely to host the portal and encrypted application files.
  • Legal obligation — if required by a valid court order or applicable law.

All service providers are required to process data only on our instructions and not to use it for their own marketing.

Cookies & Tracking

This portal uses only essential cookies required for security and application flow (for example, session management and CSRF protection).

We do not use:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Social-media tracking pixels for profiling.
  • Third-party analytics tools that build individual user profiles for marketing.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information in an active application.
  • Request early deletion of your data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
  • Object to processing — noting that we do not process data for marketing purposes.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (essential application processing may still require minimum data).

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data during the limited retention period, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to uploaded documents. No online transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure; please use a trusted network when submitting sensitive documents.
